rabobankFor Rabobank the QNH integration team developed an SCM process model. It then developed tools to support the process and subsequently implemented the model. The fact that Rabobank was in the process of outsourcing its development activities to India made the project all the more challenging.

Software development and maintenance of configuration items have been spearheads within the Rabobank organisation for years. The System Realisation Department needed a generically applicable SCM process with pragmatic applicability. The emphasis was on the development activities throughout the production chain. The development activities provided by offshore-contract projects (Development, Building and Testing of software) also had to be taken into account. Various front- and mid-office systems had to be migrated as a result of the implementation of Siebel within the Rabobank organisation. The object of the project was to create a connection between front- and back-office applications used to sell mortgage loans.
